Warren Moroni Tenney and Ella Ann Hamblin

HUSBAND:
Warren Moroni TENNEY. [Familytree].
Born 4 January 1861 at Payson, Utah County, Utah; son of Warren Reed Tenney and Julia Amanda Phelps.

Warren Moroni Tenney moved with his father's family to Arizona. His father cut the heavy timber for the St. George Temple. In 1876 they were at Tenney's Springs or Sawmill Springs east of Mormon Lake near Flagstaff, Arizona. They homesteaded at Forrestdale, south and west of Show Low, Arizona until the Apache Indian Reservation lines were redrawn and included his property. They then settled in Water Canyon in the Round Valley area near Amity, Arizona.

He married Ella Ann HAMBLIN [F29] on 14 March 1884 at Amity, Apache County, Arizona. They then moved to Flagstaff area and had a sawmill at Pinetop. About 1890 they homesteaded 160 acres in the northwest part of the Nutrioso Valley. They began building a freight business in Magdalena, New Mexico. In the Fall of 1900 they moved to the Blue for the winter. In 1901 he was at Alpine, Arizona. In MAY 1901 he had a contract [for timber or freighting ?] at Magdalena. About 1908 he moved into Alpine, Arizona.

He died on 22 June 1935 at Alpine, Apache County, Arizona, and was buried that same day.

WIFE:
Ella Ann HAMBLIN. [Familytree].
Born on 11 June (1861-S1)(1867-S2,S3) at Santa Clara, Washington County, Utah; daughter of Jacob Vernon Hamblin and Sarah Priscilla Leavitt. It was said that one bright June morning in 1867, an old cowbell was shook long and loud in front of the New Rock House in Santa Clara. It hung on a clothesline post near the Hamblin home, and was announcing the arrival of a new baby girl to the household of Jacob and Priscilla Hamblin. It was the fifth child for Priscilla, and the fourteenth for Jacob, he having children from two previous wives. (S3).

She married Warren Moroni Tenney on 14 March 1884 at Amity, Apache County, Arizona.

In 1927 her mother died while living in their home in Alpine, Apache County, Arizona.

She died on 31 March 1947 at Alpine, Apache County, Arizona.

  1. Warren Moroni TENNEY, Jr. (Warney). Born 24 MAY 1885 at Amity, Apache County, Arizona. He married 22 NOV 1907 Almeda NOBLE. He died 24 (6) October 1964.
  2. Wilford Angus TENNEY. (Angus). Born 7 MAY 1887 at Nutrioso, Apache County, Arizona. He died 14 September 1889.
  3. Orrawell TENNEY. (Orrie). Born 2 April 1889 at Nutrioso, Apache County, Arizona. He married Irene RICHES on 7 September 1922. He died on 1 December 1969.
  4. Jacob Hamblin TENNEY. (Blin). Born 4 August 1891 at Nutrioso, Apache County, Arizona. He married (1) Florence Brodus QUESNBERRY on 16 MAY 1924. He married (2) Rosilla Allen ROWLEY on 2 March 1946. He died on 29 January 1976.
  5. Benjamin Reed TENNEY. (Ben). Born 21 April 1893 at Nutrioso, Apache County, Arizona. He married (1) Fay Edith MILLER on 2 September 1915. They were divorced. He married (2) Pearl Lulu ALLEN on 2 January 1926. He died 12 JUN 1972.
  6. Clive Vernon TENNEY. [Familytree]. Born 2 August 1895 at Nutrioso, Apache County, Arizona. He married Minnie Williams on 30 January 1918. He died on 2 August 1960.
  7. Brian Clair TENNEY (S1). Clair Bryan TENNEY (S2). Born on 29 September 1897 at Nutrioso, Apache County, Arizona. He did not marry. He died on 30 January 1918 (1920-S?).
  8. Thomas Rowell TENNEY. (Rowell). Born 3 (23) July 1900 at Nutrioso, Apache County, Arizona. He married Mary Elizabeth HARRIS on 2 January 1940. He died on 31 December 1949.
  9. Edward Beeler TENNEY. (Ed). Born on 5 January 1903 at Nutrioso, Apache County, Arizona. He married Marjore SMITH on 4 March 1932. He died on 1 April 1975.
  10. Priscilla Amanda TENNEY. (Pat). Born on 29 January 1905 at Alpine (Nutrioso), Apache County, Arizona. She was named after her grandmothers Sarah Priscilla Leavitt and Julia Amanda Phelps (Tenney). She married (1) Rene Gabriel (MESTRON-?)(MISTRON-S6,S7) on 11 August 1923. They had four children:
    1. Warren Rene Mistron. Born 17 October 1925. He died 12 April 1991-S6)(1999-S7).
    2. Hermine Priscilla Mistron. Born in 1926. She died in 1999, and is buried in Alpine, Arizona.
    3. Mary Elizabeth Mistron. Born 18 August 1929. She died in 1999.
    4. Robert Felix Mistron. Born on 13 May 1933 in Saint Helena, Napa County, California. Robert died on 25 March 1996. Robert was not formally adopted, but always used the name Robert Felix Fuentes.
    They were divorced shortly after the birth of son Robert. She married (2) Joe M. FUENTES on 14 December 1935. Priscilla died on 3 January 1972 in Tuscon, Pima County, Arizona; and is buried in Alpine, Arizona. Joe M. Fuentes died on 20 July 1996 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona, and is buried in Alpine, Apache County, Arizona.
  11. William TENNEY. Born in March 1907 at Alpine, Apache County, Arizona. He died during the same month of March 1907.
  12. Myrl TENNEY. Born 30 March 1909 at Alpine, Apache County, Arizona. She married (1) Robert Walton ARROT on 17 January 1922. She married (2) (WYATT?). She married (3) Raymond SULLIVAN.
  13. Bee TENNEY. Born on 11 October 1911 at Alpine, Apache County, Arizona. She married Lunford Dillard Harper on 4 July 1933. He changed his name to Lowell Douglas after he married Bee—(not sure why). She died on 29 March 1986 in Santa Paula, Ventura County, California. He died on 2 April 1993 in Santa Paula. They had four children—Lowell Douglas Harper b: August 1, 1934; Margaret Ann Harper b: August 3, 1936; Michael George Harper b: September 3, 1947; Sherry Jeanine Harper b: February 17, 1953.
