He was also known as Lugh II "Lamfhota", and called Locrine by Geoffrey of Monmouth. (S1).

He is also said to be the son of Beli I, but sources for this are spurious.

He became King of Britain 150 BC. (S1).

Lugios was one of Britain's great legendary kings; one of the "barbarian kings" who fought the Romans on the European continent in the "Second Celtic Storm" from 113 to 101 BC. (S1).
