INGELGERIUS, Count of Orleans & of Anjou. (Ingelger).
Son of TERTULLUS, Count of Anjou and Petronella de France. He married Adelaide de Amboise de Gastinois. Ingelger was a viscount who held territory around Orléans and Angers at the end of the 9th century. His son Fulk became the first count of Anjou. After Robert the Strong, he directed the resistance to the Norman invasions on the Loire.
