Born (4-S1)(6-S3) MAR 1847 (1848-S3) at Toulon, Stark County, Illinois; daughter of David William (C.) HOWARD and Thankful Almina ELSTON.

She married (1) William HARDENBROOK (Hardenbrook-S7)(Hardenbrooks-S6) on 24 December 1868 in Bee Branch Township, Chariton County, Missouri (S7); at the residence of David Howard. They were married by Justice of the Peace, Henry Kiager. They were soon divorced.
The had a daughter: Martha E. Hardenbrook, born 5 February 1871 in Randolph County, Missouri. She died on 7 September 1871 in Mahaska County, Iowa; and was buried in the Highland Cemetery in Eddyville, Mahaska County, Iowa.

In the 1870 Census she is living with her parents in Prairie, Randolph County, Missouri. She has a daughter Martha E. Hardenbrooks, age 5 months.

She married (2) Charles William Eugene HENTZE on 27 April 1875 in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin.

She is listed as Anna in the 1880 census of Harrison County, Missouri.

She died 10 December 1912 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California; and was buried in the Roseland Cemetery in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.

She married Charles Elmer WOODWORTH on 18 SEP 1894 at Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas. She died 24 July 1941 at Van Nuys, Los Angeles County, California; and was buried at Valhalla Memorial Park, North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
  2. Glenn Allan HENTZE (Guy). (Glenon Guy Allen HENTZE, known as Glen-S3). Born 1 OCT 1877 at Rapids City, Rock Island County, Illinois. On 12 September 1918 he registered for the WWI draft, and was living at 520 Temple Street, Los Angeles, California. He married Loretta Laura Morrison on 14 May 1922 in Los Angeles, California. (she was previously married to Mr.THOMAS, and they were divorced) (Glenn's death certificate lists her as Laura L). She was the daughter of J. F. Morrison and Helen E. Aday. In 1937 they were living in Los Angeles, at 202 Grand Avenue. He was a contractor. He died 3 April 1937 in Los Angeles, California. He died of coronary artery disease. He was buried in Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery, Los Angeles, California.
  3. George Guy HENTZE (Lessie). Born 1 OCT 1877 in Rapids City, Rock Island County, Ilinois. He was alive after 19 AUG 1920 in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
  4. William Eugene HENTZE (Will, Willie). Born 29 JUL 1879 at Eaglesville, Harrison County, Missouri. He married Nancy Ellen (Ella) OSBORNE on 30 April 1903 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. He died 12 JUN 1905 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.
  5. Lillie Melissa HENTZE. Born 16 January 1881 at Cainesville, Harrison County, Missouri. She married (1) Guy Bates CHAMBERLAIN on 17 MAY 1896 in Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas. He died on 5 June 1940 in Van Nuys, California. She married (2) Charles Elmer WOODWORTH on 29 March 1942 in Van Nuys, Los Angeles County, California. She died on 13 July 1955 in Van Nuys, Los Angeles County, California and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Van Nuys.
