Of Asch (As), Asch, Czechoslovakia. There are several BLOSIN families surrounding Asch. They use various spellings of the name: BLOSIN (as used in our family records), but also BLOSS, BLOSSIN, PLOSS, and PLOSSIN. One of these was the family of Michael PLOSS, who received 5 florins for damages inflicted on his property during the Seven Year War.
On 31 OCT 1782 a list was made of the inhabitants of Asch who received firewood from the government forest. The name of Martin PLOSS is among those on the list.
