Nicholas ATWOOD and Olive Harman

HUSBAND:

Born in 1539 in Sanderstead, Surrey, England; son of John Hewson ATWOOD [F30656] and Margaret [F30657].

He married Olive HARMAN on 30 January 1569-1570 in St. Martin's in the Field, Westminster, London, Middlesex, England.

They lived at Sanderstead Court Farms.

He served Queen Elizabeth after the second year of her reign. He was Assistant Sergeant of the Queens Carriages with his cousin John Ownstead (son of Agnes Atwood and John Ownstead Sr.) as Sergeant. It is said that Queen Elizabeth spent the night with them at Sanderstead Court when she was returning from one of her trips. (S2).

In London they resided ain the Parish of St. Martin's in the Fields. (S2).

He died on 10 May 1586 at Sanderstead, Surrey, England; and was buried on 12 May 1586 in St. Martin's in the Fields, London, England. (S1,S2).

Born in 1548; daughter of James Harman.

She married (1) Nicholas ATWOOD on 30 January 1569-1570 in St. Martin's in the Field, Westminster, London, Middlesex, England.

She married (2) William Marleville in 1590 in England.

she married (3) John Buck on 24 April 1592 in England.

She was buried in 1603 in Elstree, Hertfordshire, England.
